Anna loves to see her patients smile, and she gives them a lot to smile about. Blessed with the gift of gab, Anna finds that carrying on a conversation keeps the patients at ease and she can carry out the tasks at hand. That’s been her approach since joining Maddox Dentistry in 2002. Anna has an associate's degree in applied science from Lincoln Land Community College and received her hygiene degree from Parkland College. She is also certified to administer local anesthetic. Anna is proud of her profession and serves as a member of the Illinois State Dental Society and American Dental Hygienists Association. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, scrapbooking, gardening, photography, and having fun with family and friends.
Lisa is not only a skilled hygienist, she’s also a committed educator. Her favorite part of her job is teaching patients that they can take control of their oral health through daily brushings and flossings. And she and the rest of the Maddox team are there to support them along the way. Lisa joined the team in 2002. She has a degree in Dental Hygiene from SIU-Carbondale and later attended Lakeland College for certification to administer anesthetics. Away from the office, Lisa teaches women’s self-defense for the Prairie Center Against Sexual Assault, as well as Tae Kwon Do at the Christian County YMCA. She lives in Taylorville with her husband and three sons.
